BLOCK CARE + SAFETY
Our handcrafted blocks are expertly made from premium maple and cherry hardwood, featuring intricate laser etched details. We abstain from utilizing any finishing oils, stains, or lacquers, preserving the raw integrity of the wood and contrasting laser etched graphics.
Please note that our blocks are not suitable for use as teething toys. It is essential to shield them from moisture and drool, making them ideal decorative pieces and photo props until your child reaches the age of 2 or is past the mouthing phase.
To maintain the quality of your blocks, keep them clear of water, food, and pets. In the event that cleaning is absolutely necessary, employ a gentle approach by using a damp cloth and mild detergent, allowing them to air dry. Excessive cleaning may lead to expanded wood grain, resulting in a less smooth surface.
Conduct regular inspections of your blocks to identify any potential chips or cracks, ensuring they remain in optimal condition. Should you have any inquiries, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at email@example.com.
STAINS & CLEAR COATS
We believe our blocks are beautiful on their own without the use any stains, paints or clear coats. If you choose to finish/seal your blocks we suggest three coats of a clear-satin polyurethane or Minwax polycrylic, applied with a foam brush.
Natural mineral oils such a hemp oil or beeswax are also acceptable to use however they will darken the wood color more than polyurethane and reduce the contrast of the laser etching. Always use one block as a test and wait 48 hours to ensure you're happy with the final results.
